Guitars for Kids stems from a dream to spread the love of music to children. It is scientifically proven that playing a musical instrument has positive effects on the health of the brain, and guitars are a versatile tool for brain training and lifelong enjoyment. Playing an instrument is an amazing brain boost--strengthening brain connections and increasing brain volume and activity thus improving creativity, memory, and problem solving abilities.

We are currently a team of TWO dedicated individuals who are committed to making a difference. We look forward to adding volunteers and staff members at Guitars for Kids who love music as much as we do. We will build a team that is interested in raising awareness about the significance of learning to play an instrument.
